Move Updates

In late 2012, the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) will open the doors of a new museum at the Naval Reserve Building (the “Armory”) at Lake Union Park. The Armory, which has historic landmark status from both the federal government and the city of Seattle, is an ideal location for an exciting regional history museum that will provide a transformative experience for residents and visitors.

A capital campaign is underway, and is reaching out to individuals, families, foundations and businesses that recognize what is unique and most valued about our region.

History is moving

For additional information on the capital campaign, visit www.historyismoving.org where you can also sign up for e-mail notices on the new museum project.

All questions can be directed to Elaine Ethier, Director of Institutional Advancement at (206) 324-1126 Ext. 14 or elaine.ethier@seattlehistory.org.
