Professional Development for Teachers
MOHAI offers year round professional development programs for K-12 teachers at the museum or your school. Credits or clock hours are available for most programs.

Ongoing Enrichment Programs for Teachers

Teachers' Institute
Each year MOHAI conducts an intensive three-day study of regional history which focuses on a different theme each day. With lectures by regional scholars, including MOHAI historian, Dr. Lorraine McConaghy, this content-driven program of Pacific Northwest history is designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge of our region’s past and to support state standards.  Credit and Clock Hours Available

Getting to the Source: Primary Sources in the Classroom
Available any time with advanced booking
This hands-on session offers practical skills-based activities that directly support students analysis of primary sources and prepares you to implement the Dig Deep CBA in your classroom. This 90 minute program can be booked at your school or district at mutually agreeable time. Clock Hours Available.
